​​Grace Bible Church was formed in February 1975. The new congregation held its first meetings at the English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene, ID. The current building at 152 W Prairie Avenue in Hayden, ID, was purchased later that same year.

For many years, the church housed an Accelerated Christian Education school which, at its peak, hosted 150 students. The school was the model ACE school for the Pacific Northwest.

Additions to the original building included a two-story section with a sanctuary on the upper floor and a fellowship hall on the lower floor. The church also built a 5,000 sq ft gymnasium for activities and sports events.

The church has had seven pastors since its founding. The current pastor is Dr. Gene Speer, who was installed in August 2024.
